The fact that the sound can be bent as you wish is in fact a double edged sword. These lack the firmness and weight of the stainless steel ones, which slide in much easier than the silicon ones. You also need to use additional lube for that matter.Not a deal breaker, but a nice expectation to have in mind before the first use.

I saw this toy and decided to take a leap in trying it out. This toy provided an erotic experience into a new world of pleasure. The main thing I would tell someone wanting to try this toy is to use plenty of lube and go slow.

Definitely enjoyable, my box was also “opened” but it ships in a standard bag, with a box that contains the sounds and then a sealed bag within the box with the sounds. The guys picture of the bag is blurry as hell when the others are clear shots... ok guy, obviously it wasn’t opened. So yeah, package handlers are rough.. big whoop..But as for the product, they’re great.. obviously use lube. The texture variation feels good with the bulbs. I’m somewhat a beginner and I’ve always wanted to advance to something thicker and longer. I just received mine today and I was able to use the second thickest one. Definitely gave me a different feeling, but with time and patience I’m sure it’ll be great. It’s worth having, feeling it stretch the urethra feels amazing. Extra lube when you use these!I also would like to add, the tip is kind of pointed and it’s something I wish I knew before purchasing. It should be smoother.

I been looking for something like these for a long time, my only complaint is that these are not thick enough for me i like them ticker. Silicone seems a whole lot friendlier than stainless steel. I imagine it's safer too. Never understand what they mean by beginner. It's about the diameter of your urethra, not your skill level. Guess I have a sophisticated urethra. Although maybe one could call it jaded.

Was skeptical about this purchase but woahhh this is a whole new type of experience. I bought the advanced kit right off the bat because the beginner one looked way too small. The smallest in the advanced kit is really nice and the largest is..well let's say it's going to take me a long time before I ever get there. It might hurt so go slow and ease into it. I recommend trying to go all the way because it feels best 1-2 inches before I reached the end. Good luck!PS. Try it at night so if peeing hurts you can heal overnight!

The ovals feel really good as they are going in and on the way out.Measured with digital calipers, my set was: 9.7mm – 9.0mm – 7.5mm – 6.8mm (11.5” insertable length)There are no seams or defects. They are very elastic which I liked.Most of the users who gave these one or two stars means they do not know how to sound with silicone. Also, their comments were very subjective especially: “I didn’t like them” or “They hurt”. I would not recommend these for first timers. A set of Hager metal rods would be better.Silicone is ‘grippy’ (they don’t slide in easy like metal). I found that McKesson Lubricating Jelly works best for silicone followed by Surgilube. After I coat the silicone rods with lube, I dip them in sterile water. That makes them very slippery and easy to insert. Amazon sells sterile water.Wash your sounds thoroughly with hot soapy water and rinse with hot water before use. Avoid contaminating them. You don’t want an infection from bacteria. Wash your hands too!Go very slow and use lots of lube. It’s easier to insert a sound when you’re semi-erect or flaccid.It’s normal to feel burning (stinging) when you urinate after sounding. That normally subsides.Never use household items which can cause injuries and infections. I love this product. It may not be for BEGINNER beginners. Like, it may not be the first thing that you may want to put all the way into someone's urethra if they are new to it , too. due to the ridges, and such. But , if you give that person time to warm up to it, it may be comforting. I love the end of the sounds having a little flat end so it doesn't fall into the penis. (Have had that issue once or twice since purchasing steel sounds after this purchase haha) Definitely prefer these right now for this reason. Easy to clean like a nice hot boil for 10-15 minutes. Just remember, surgilube, gloves, and a clean towel / environment (bed, room, couch, chair, etc.)
